Friday 16th – Sunday 18th November 2012
A first properly wintry trip of the season saw members heading out to enjoy the fresh snow on various hills including Moruisg and Carn Gorm. Meanwhile the mountain bikers completed a pretty respectable 36km route circumnavigating the Munro Maol Chean-dearg (coincidentally climbed the last time we were in Achnasheen ). This was mostly single track paths and the return was via the Bealach a’ Choire Ghairbh ( see route here ). Well earned whisky, dinner, and warm fire were enjoyed in the hut afterwards and Sunday saw more activity including a trip to Laggan Wolftrax for the mountain bikers ( GPS track here ).
