Five of us decided to make the most of the stunning weather and head to Glen Clova for the day. For myself, Niall and Paul it was a chance to check out part of the route for the upcoming duathlon. Niall came well prepared with a featherweight bike and plenty jelly babies and soon disappeared off in a cloud of dust, Chimed and I cycled round at a more relaxed pace, while Paul and Jane walked up to Glen Doll.

Paul, Niall and I then ran from Glen Doll up to Corrie Fee, fairly taxing in the heat. Then it was time to descend on the Clova Hotel for some food before heading home.
