Andrew and Jon headed up to Glenshee with mountaineering, ski touring and downhill gear looking to make the best of whatever conditions they found. The snow was good but unfortunately it was pretty windy with very low visibility, so it ended up being a downhill day – although it was so windy that even skiing downhill was difficult at times without coming to a stop! A fun day nonetheless – nice snow conditions although unfortunately Glas Maol and Coire Fionn were closed due to avalanche risk. Check out the “crevasse” in the second picture – a streambed right beside the piste covered over with snow.. we didn’t fancy testing it 🙂
