Friday 1 – Sunday 3 March 2024

Our 2nd trip to the Agnes Spencer Memorial Hut didn’t disappoint with a first trip to the Lakes for some and a few taking advantage of the shoulder nights available.

Significant overnight snow on the Friday and a bright start to Saturday provided wonderful walking conditions until the afternoon sleet & snow came in. We were certainly glad of the cosy hut in the evenings and were able to celebrate a birthday!

Folk were out again on Sunday with myself heading for the nearby Howgills.

Hoping to be back next Spring !!
