St.Valentine’s day – the perfect day to rekindle the mountain love affair. After a dreich month of rainy easterlies (good for Glenshee though!) the relationship was getting strained, but Saturday put that all behind us and filled our hearts with joy.

Absolutely perfect snow conditions, crampons on for much of the time, great views in all directions, and little wind. Best of all, the good company from a cheery bunch of DMCers. We even met up with some old friends (Hi, Alan!) doing the same route in reverse, and Amy/Dom who wanted to tick off the Corbett first.
