If you have a complaint about one or more individuals associated with the Club, please contact any committee member as named on the club website. If you prefer anonymity, it is possible to raise a concern to the Support Rep as named on the website, who can bring the issues to the committee’s attention for you.
The committee will discuss the complaint and if necessary, convene an independent panel consisting of club members to investigate further.
Investigation Process
When concerns are raised by a member or member of the public about behaviour or conduct, the individual may be suspended from Club activities while allegations are being investigated by the committee. The Club will maintain confidentiality while ensuring thorough investigation of all allegations.
Consequences and Support
Depending on the severity and nature of conduct violations, consequences may include:
- Informal recommendations for counselling and guidance.
- Formal warnings and behaviour agreements.
- Temporary suspension from specific activities or all Club activities.
- Permanent exclusion from Club membership.
- Referral to appropriate authorities where illegal activity is suspected.
The Club is committed to supporting members in understanding and meeting these standards while maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for all participants.
Changes to this process
This process will be reviewed regularly and updated as needed to reflect evolving practices for diversity and inclusion and safety in all club activities. All members are encouraged to contribute to this ongoing improvement process.
