29th June – 14th July 2013

Ephraim, Richard and I headed out to the Alps for an amazing 2 weeks of mountaineering.

The schedule was fully packed:-

Day 1: Flight to Geneva, travel to Grimentz

Day 2: Hike to Cabane de Moiry  (2825m) then up to Pigne de la Le (3396m, F)

Day 3: Pointes de Mourti (3529m, PD+)

Day 4: Hike to Cabane de Tracuit (3,256 m)

Day 5: Bishhorn (4160m, F)

Day 6: Travel to Saas Fee, go to Britannia Hut (3030m)

Day 7: Allalinhorn (4027m,PD+)

Day 8: Alphubel (4206m, PD+)

In the second week, we headed to Chamonix and after some well deserved resting (coffee and gear shop bagging!), we climbed Mont Blanc (4,810m) from the Gouter Hut!

Conditions couldn’t be better.
