Friday 23 – Sunday 25 January 2026

The DMC January meet was to the iconic Lagangarbh hut in Glencoe, the famous white cottage in front of Buachaille Etive Mor. A smaller turnout than usual, due to the DMC ski trip to the Alps the same weekend, nevertheless we had a couple of special guests… and some fantastic grub! Some SMC members joined us for the craic, a very sociable weekend. They might have had a good time hiding in a snowy gully but we chose a local Corbett, a good option because we could walk straight from the hut, no car needed. It was a tad windy up top though, didn’t really feel chillin’ so headed off to the Kingshouse for a hot chocolate.
