7 intrepid DMC members took to the North Boat for a rough ride to Shetland while 4 others took to the skies on days that didn’t need much of a run up to get airborne and 1 had decided to live there a while.

Yackle hauler Rosie was able to sort us out with some evening entertainment, with a Burns Supper and Ceilidh at Skeld, a Boxie and Fiddle Stramash and best of all she got us all into the party at the British Legion following the burning of the Galley.

As well as party we went for a couple of walks on Muckle Roe and Hermaness, some swam at the most northerly point of the public road network at Skaw, and took in various sights along the way.
