With winter now upon us we decided it was time to sharpen our ice axes and get our ski legs back.
A group of 9 headed down to the Snow Factor indoor ski slope and ice climbing wall in Glasgow.
5 of us (4 skiers, one boarder) enjoyed a couple of hours on the ski slope whilst 4 climbers completed their three hour induction onto the ice wall, qualifying them to use the ice walls at Glasgow and Kinlochleven unsupervised in future.
It turned out to have been the perfect day for it – persistent miserable rain all day – ideal for being indoors in perfect, calm crisp winter conditions!
