Kindly organised by Neil (our Fife correspondent), this meet was billed as the ‘Longest Wednesday’. All gathered at the Craigmead Car Park with the small running group heading up East Lomond first whilst the walkers headed straight for West Lomond. A lovely evening weather wise with only a few spits of rain early on and shifting mists on West Lomond. The first walkers summitted in 1 hour with the runners a mere 5 minutes behind and we enjoyed improving views over the Howe of Fife. We were joined soon after by a colourful MTB group based in Glenrothes. The return to base was uneventful bar a little dog coaxing and Berenice provided some welcome refreshment.
