sweaty ascent ahead of the pack,

January jigsaw (Buachaille Etive Mor) fun beckoned.

Anna led, Simon & Paul separate seconds, two ropes,

first pitch then rainstorm.

Ab off followed by rope recovery challenge.

Exit up curve ridge, summit & ridge walk,

more rain,

descent via tourist path.

Communal meal – spag bol then Jamaica ginger cake dessert

Evening’s entertainment climbing around tables

Niall fell off

Sunday:

Ridge behind Ballachulish – Sgorr Dhonuill & Sgorr Dhearg.

Great scramble in good weather, great views,

steep friable descent path into “Gone with the wind” landscape.

Rendezvous in pub waiting for kamikaze drive back.
