Friday 19 – Sunday 21 May 2023

4 car loads went early doors friday to the Ayrshire coast to sit in a queue. 3 car loads comfortably got aboard the ferry while the final was squeezed on last.

Thus we all made it to Arran to start a 3 day weekend in style with a CalMac breakfast.

Allan set out from Corrie on a mission to bag all the corbets leaving Niall, Andy and Paulina on Goatfell to crack on, they met Shannon, Sandy, Andy and Leslie at the col below north Goatfell who had come up from Glen Sannox and would return via Brodick. While Emily-May and Sean sea kayaked to Holy Island. All missions accomplished for Friday.

Saturday was tourism day where the footsteps of dinosaurs and Kings were followed.

On Sunday it was back to the hills for most with Allan getting the last Corbet from Glen Rosa with Andy and Paulina.

The lack of catering on the return ferry saw a scramble for food in Lamlash then Sandy and Leslie provided the entertainment on board as we returned to the mainland.
