Keen to make the most of this year’s Indian summer Simon and I decided to head out for some big climbing. Simon had never tried any multi-pitch before so I picked an easy sounding route at Stag Rocks on the south side of Cairngorm. We had a fantastic day alternating leads, nice and warm in the sun. The route was relatively straightforward but we both reckoned it was a tad tougher than the advertised grade. Either that or we were just woefully out of practice!
