After lots more heavy winds, another calm day was finally on the cards so Hazel & I headed to the Cairngorms again. We had planned to have an on-piste day but huge queues soon put us off that plan! Instead we skinned up from the Ciste car park into Coire Laogh Mor. Sadly the snow was pretty hard and icy and we had to resort to ski crampons higher up, only to find scoured rocky areas as we approached the top of the corrie, so we decided to make it a short day and ski straight back down.
