Only four DMCers were lucky enough to get entries to the Glen Clova Extreme Duathlon this year, but those lucky four were treated to near perfect weather for the event.

The duathlon involves cycling 26km down and then up the roads in Glen Clova, walking and/or running 14km over two Munros and finally cycling 6km back to the Glen Clova hotel.

Congratulations to Iain who finished 5th overall in 2 hrs 46 mins, and to Lucia who was placed 6th lady at 3 hrs 12 mins.
John and I were both happy to finish with somewhat less superhuman times.

Well done to everyone that took part and thanks to Tayside Mountain Rescue for organising a fantastic fun event.
