Weekend trip staying at Inbhirfhaolain Hut.
On Saturday Andrew, Alison, Hazel, Phil, Elena, Juan and Allan climbed Beinn Fhionnlaidh. Nice conditions with clear visibility were enjoyed. A bit of fun was had on the steep ground to the South East of the 841m top then they progressed along the easy snow covered ridge to the summit.
Jon went ski touring around Glen Coe ski centre to enjoy what will probably be the last huge dump of snow this season. There was fantastic snow cover right down to the car park enabling skinning all the way from the car to the summit of Meall a’ Bhuiridh and plenty of off piste fun on the descent.
After some games and drinking on Saturday evening, plus a deterioration in the weather, Sunday saw a less demanding day with a visit to the Ice Factor for a bit of climbing and a short walk up ‘devil’s staircase!’
