We’re back!

No sooner had Nicola fired the starting gun than we were organising our first running meet of 2021. Twelve of us gathered on St Patrick’s night in Camperdown park to put our lockdown bodies through their paces. Not having had much hill practice recently meant the initial circuit of the park and the long climb up the west side was a challenge – for me at least, everyone else seemed to be managing fine! The group split at the top with Dave leading the die-hards on a circuitous route up to the Templeton Water tower and the rest of us opting for another half loop of the park. Darkness fell as we regathered for stretching, a blether and a wee toast to our Celtic friends across the sea.
