Friday 14 – Sunday 16 April 2023

A trip to Inverie is always highly anticipated and, blessed with an improving forecast, we were not to be disappointed !

Our retiree of the year made it a 5 night trip and our bagger of the year just the one. A few folk took advantage of the e-bike hire and the village shop was well used!

Three walking groups went out on the Saturday in fine weather to include Ladhar Bheinn, Sgurr Coire Choinnichean and Meall Buidhe with Dave and Dom managing to include Luinne Bheinn as well!

Food-wise we had to do a switch around, enjoying Chicken Curry or Lentil Dahl followed by yummy cake on the Friday evening – thanks to Lyndsey, Isabel and Rosie. We all just about made it for the restaurant booking on Saturday at The Lookout where some of us returned on Sunday for a boozy or not so brunch. We look forward to being able to use The Old Forge on our next visit!
