Berenice, Suchi, Rike, Bill, Mhairi, Paul, Justyna, Andrew, Mike

DMC were well-represented in this year’s events with Suchi, Bill, Berenice and Rike running the 10k on Saturday and Paul, Mhairi and Justyna heroically running the 15 miler on Sunday. The snow showers and biting wind chased us round the course and up the notorious hill. Andrew and Mike made a great support team and the best bit was hearing your mates cheering you on just as you were trying to raise the pace to a ‘sprint’ to finish. The Balmoral cafe was a welcome shelter until closing time then it was back to Braemar to set up camp. We thought it was freezing but luckily we escaped in time – the following night the snow gates were closed!
