The warm dry conditions made this a very enjoyable challenge today with some good times and new PBs. Amy came in as the new fastest female, Marc set off with an incredible pace then enjoyed a wee off-route wander allowing Dom to hold onto his overall lead. Kevin came in before Andrew who got a healthy 48 minutes and Ed and I came in around 58 minutes – and that was after cycling up to the farm. A new PB for me! Back at the bikes the weather broke into a torrential downpour soaking us within seconds. It got me rethinking what to put into my transition box for the Clova Duathlon – spare shoes and socks definitely if bad weather is forecast.
