Justyna and I went for a wander into Coire an Lochan with the intention of getting an amiable route done. Unfortunately many things conspired against us: the overly snowy conditions, mistakenly starting up a grade V route, queues on another route and the cold wind. Eventually we gave up and retreated back the way we’d come in. It was still a good day out and there’ll be a full write up about it in the next DMC newsletter.
