A quick evening trip to Kirrie again. Nights are getting shorter and there’s a definite nip sometimes in the air. So I feel there won’t be many more evening climbs this season. (Though someone did suggest night time climbing to compete with the MTBers)
Not a lot of routes got done but Andrew had a good go at Dubh be Dubh (6a+) and Dogmatic (6a+). Dave B followed him and whilst the rope was still there I used it to have a try at Kirrie (Beach) Ball (6b+). Very tricky! After much falling off I made it halfway up and finished there. One to work on I think. Daniella, new to Dundee and the club had a good evening climbing a few 5+’s and finishing off Another Green World (6a). And, as the sun started to sink, it was time to head to the pub…
